Ich besuche eine Schule, welche mir die Möglichkeit gibt eine Ausbildung und gleichzeitig das Abitur zu erwerben (kein Fachabi, "Voll Abi" aka Allgemeine Hochschulreife).
Meine Ausbildung heißt GTA, Gestaltungs technischer Assistent, deshalb habe ich als LK Gestaltungstechnik, ein Fach, in dem wir selbst gestalterische Projekte erarbeiten und ausführen. Zudem 2 Stunden praktische Kunst (auf wirklich sehr hohem Niveau), 2 Stunden Kunst Gesellschaftsgeschichte Geschichte (Nachvollziehen von gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen anhand von Kunstwerken), 2 Stunden Architektur Geschichte und 2 Stunden Grafik Design (lernen mit der Adobe Palette umzugehen).
Ich muss sagen, dass sich diese Schule als totaler Glücksgriff erwiesen hat. Ich habe eine wundervolle tolerate Klasse und sehr aufmerksame Lehrer, die Bock auf das haben, was wir machen.
Zwar keine "Art School" im traditionellen Sinne, aber ich denke es kommt auf Ähnliches hinaus.
Wenn ihr die Chance habt auf ein solches berufliches Gymnasium zu gehen - Ergreift sie!

So, I have written the first part in German, cause I don't know, if similar schools exist in other countrys.
But I will roughly translate what I've just said.
I'm visiting an "art school" every day. We are a schhol where you learn a job and make your collage degree (Abitur) at the same time. Our job is called GTA (funny, I know)
and includes editing lessons, conception of different projects (mainly Ads) and of course drawing and art lessons.
We learn about art history, arcitecture history and practical art.
I love to go there, mainly because of my wonderful class, but also because of the motivated teachers and the countless things I learn.
I actually understand modern art now! It took my mind to a whole new level, even through it is pretty hard sometimes.
